The establishment of a new board of directors marks an important step in Aziwell’s continued development. The board will strengthen the company’s strategic work and support its ambitions for further growth, both nationally and internationally.
Terje Eidesmo is the new chair of the board
«Aziwell is a company with significant potential, and it is an honor to be appointed chair of the board. I look forward to contributing my experience from drilling, international business, and technology development, and to working closely with management to further strengthen the company’s strong position,» says Eidesmo.
Founder Eirik Borg emphasizes the importance of establishing the new board:
«The establishment of a new and highly competent Board marks a turning point for the company. We now gain access to experience and insights that give us both weight and execution power in our continued efforts within drilling technology for the mining and infrastructure markets, both nationally and internationally,» says Borg.
He adds:
«Together with the recent recognition as Central Norway’s best international company, this gives us a powerful boost in our ambition to develop Aziwell into a future unicorn company in the region.»
Continued global growth
Since the commercialization of AziDrill in 2018, Aziwell has experienced significant growth and established operations in North America, Mexico, Latin America, Australia, and Europe. With the new Board in place, the company is well-positioned to further develop its solutions in directional drilling technology and take the next steps on both the national and international stage.

The new Board was elected on August 15, 2025.
