As Health & Safety Supervisor for Operations Colombia, she's the person who makes sure every project runs safely — and that the people on it feel supported while it does.

Monica came to Aziwell on a friend's recommendation, drawn by the chance to step into a completely new industry. She arrived with high expectations — and the company has exceeded them. Since joining, she's built deep expertise in health and safety regulations across multiple countries in Latin America, navigating not just the technical requirements but the cultural nuances that come with operating across borders.

Health and safety doesn't stop when the meeting starts. Monica leads by example — here running a "Pausas Saludables" (healthy break) session with the team, taking a few minutes between tasks to stretch, breathe, and reset. Because taking care of people is always part of the job.

No two weeks look the same for Monica. She's constantly moving between projects, resolving compliance challenges, managing risk, and making sure best practices are embedded into daily operations — not just documented somewhere in a folder.
